Anders S\u00f6derholm is the President of KTH as of 1 December 2022. He leads a KTH that takes the lead for a sustainable society. He has held a range of different positions in the academic sector, including a spell as Director General at UK\u00c4, the Swedish Higher Education Authority, between 2017\u20132022. He had a spell as Secretary General of the Association of Swedish Higher Education Institutions, SUHF. He was Vice Chancellor of Mid Sweden University 2008\u20132016, and Dean of Ume\u00e5 School of Business, Economics and Statistics 2000\u20132003.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Anders S\u00f6derholm\u2019s academic background is from Ume\u00e5 University, where he became a PhD in 1991 with a thesis on municipal industrial policies. He has been a Professor of Business Administration, and a researcher and teacher in industrial economics at KTH 1998\u20131999 and 2003\u20132004. He has also been a guest researcher at Stanford University and \u00c5bo Akademi University.<\/p>\n

As President, one of his goals is that KTH should continue to develop as a leading technical and international university for a sustainable future.<\/p>\n
