Each School will have its own reform agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Despite our School\u2019s stable financial situation, which does not require immediate actions, it is becoming increasingly evident that our educational and research resources must be optimized in order to cultivate a more sustainable working environment.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/intra.kth.se\/blogs\/sandra-di-rocco\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/02\/internat1-300x221.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The School Faculty Board gets better acquainted with the School management through an improvisation theatre exercise.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With this in mind, on February 22-23, the School management, Department management, and Faculty Board convened for a 2-da<span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'garamond pro', garamond, 'times new roman', times, serif;font-size: 1.125rem\">y retreat at N\u00e4sby Slott. During the retreat, there was fruitful deliberation on the dimensioning of the School\u2019s faculty and teaching portfolio, among other key topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This productive exchange of ideas resulted in significant progress and laid the foundation for future work. Ideas generated during the retreat will be further explored, discussed at all levels, and refined to ensure an effective and considered implementation in the upcoming academic years. Moving forward, the Faculty Board will assume an increasingly central role in guiding our School\u2019s development in line with both the global and local reform agendas.
