Progressing from the Material to the Immaterial Cycles of the Circular Industrial Economy

CE@KTH is delighted to invite you to the inaugural webinar of its monthly webinar series. The webinar will be delivered by Prof. Dr Walter R. Stahel who will present his vision for “Progressing from the Material to the Immaterial Cycles of the Circular Industrial Economy”. Prof. Dr Walter R. Stahel is the circular economy pioneer and is credited with inventing the concept of the circular economy in a paper published in 1982.

The webinar will be hosted by CE@KTH on March-10th from 12:00 to 13:00 CET. After the 45 minutes seminar the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Bio:

Prof. Dr Walter R. Stahel is a Swiss architect, graduating from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich in 1971. He has been founder-director of the Product-Life Institute (Switzerland), the oldest established consultancy in Europe devoted to developing sustainable strategies and policies, since 1983. Stahel has been an accomplished circular economy pioneer and an active proponent of circular thinking since the publication of his 1976 report on the Potential for Substituting Manpower for Energy to the European Commission. Currently, Walter Stahel works as an author, keynote speaker and storyteller.
