The need for standardization within the Circular Economy
CE@KTH is delighted to invite you to attend the guest lecture on "the need for standardization within the Circular Economy". The guest lecture will be delivered by Raul Carlsson who is a senior researcher at RISE, chairman for the Swedish national standardization committee for Environmental Management and expert member of the ISO technical committee for Circular Economy standardization
About the speaker:
Dr. Raul Carlsson has over 25 years of experience from research around sustainability information provision, management and use for decision making. Since 1997 he represents Sweden in the ISO standardization of environmental management and since 2019 also in the standardization of circular economy. Raul Carlsson has published a wide range of articles in the fields of research and innovation for sustainability information acquisition and management, ranging from designing and management the build-up of the world's first national LCA database, in Sweden, between 1996 and 1998 to being honoured with the Swedish foundry association's innovation prize for initiating and establishing a new field of smart metal castings, with the goal for it to drive a decoupling of the industry sector's dependence of resource based material flows.
Agenda: The lecture will be around 25 + 25 minutes including a break. Afterwards, there is room for questions and comments.
