Augmenting Human Operators for the Era of Automated Industry - A/HOPE/AI

Novel Mobile Human-Machine Interaction and Services for Smart Production.

The project A/HOPE/AI aims at demonstrating a set of novel Mobile Human-Machine Interaction (MHMI) services for supporting the ongoing digitalization and automation efforts in manufacturing. The overall goal is to identify the core actors and interfaces of a novel platform enabling the transmission, cloud processing and visualization of IoT data that is critical to manufacturing operations.

The project tackles one of the crucial aspects associated with increased automation in the process industry, i.e. creating novel enablers for supporting the human transition from active participation the process execution to process supervision. The results from the project includes a set of technical demonstrators, but also business dimensions, such as an exploration of the service ecosystem novel business models enabled by the proposed platform and its enabled human-centric industrial services.

A/HOPE/AI fokuserar på en av de mest avgörande aspekterna i samband med ökad automation i processindustrin, dvs att skapa nya tekniker och metoder som stödjer övergången från aktivt deltagande i tillverkning till processövervakning. Projektresultaten är främst ett par tekniska demonstratorer, men även analyser av affärsmässiga aspekter som nya affärsmodellerna för användar-centrerade plattformar kring industriella tjänster.
