Mobile Service Laboratory

The Mobile Service Laboratory at the Division of Communication Systems' overall aim is to foster innovation, education and research in mobile services. The lab is pursuing the study, the design, the benchmarking, and the evaluation of mobile systems and their associated services.

Mobile services are, arguably the next generation of mobile software and as such a key area for KTH education, research as well as a highly relevant area to national economy and industry.
Research topics include: context aware and adaptive service functionality, intelligent content and media delivery, next generation wireless core network architecture that is substantially increasing the Quality of Mobile Experience, mobile service scalability, machine learning applied to adaptive systems and data mining, activity management in large scale ubiquitous computing systems, and design and management of complex interactions in ubiquitous mobile service systems. The lab is closely associated with Wireless@KTH, EIT Digital, as well as the TNG consortium. The lab is also founded by two ongoing Vinnova projects in the area of mobile services.
