Public Transport & Soft Modes

  • Bicycle traffic simulation
The purpose of the project is to investigate how bicycle traffic simulation can be improved to capture cyclists' behavior more accurately and enable microscopic traffic simulation analyses of bicycle traffic.

  • Large-scale transport model for cycling
In this project, the overall goal is to develop a regional transport model for better predicting bicycle demand as well as facilitating cost-benefit analysis for bicycle infrastructure investments.

  • Modelling of micro mobility - M3
A prestudy on knowledge needs and user patterns.

Micro-mobility is a collective term that encompasses different types of vehicles, e.g. electric scooters, electric bikes, segways and electric tricycles.

  • Smart transfer nodes
This project will develop methods and tools to support station planning and operations with respect to passenger streams, the surrounding traffic system and the impact on crowding in vehicles.
