Abstract:

You are welcome to my 80 % seminar on the topic "Modeling and Stability Analysis of Grid-Connected Voltage Source Converters".

I will tell you about my results so far from 1) Small-Signal Modeling of Grid-Connected Voltage Source Converter, and 2) Small-signal modeling and frequency regulation in low-inertia grids.

Welcome!

Bio:

Hongyang Zhang completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2011. He started at ABB in Västerås in 2011 and he has been working mainly with the voltage source converters for flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS). He spends his part-time as an industrial PhD student in the department of electric power and energy systems at KTH.
