Roof of Reflection Wisdome Screenings

Roof of Reflection is an audiovisual, immersive experience created based on Cristina Iglesias' new work Aurora Borealis Star Dome in Princess Estelle's Sculpture Park. Roof of Reflection has been created for Wisdome's 360° dome — a format that shares the sculpture's fundamental quality: it envelops those within it. The viewer moves through the work in the shifting light of day and night, with Cristina Iglesias' own voice as narrator, specially composed music by Britta Byström performed by Adolf Fredriks Kyrkas Kammarkör (Adolf Fredrik's Church Chamber Choir), and a scientific perspective from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

The experience is a portal — to use Cristina's own words — that leads the viewer to a place within themselves. An independent work of art and an opportunity for everyone to take part in a powerful and unique experience, akin to the one offered by Aurora Borealis Star Dome on site in the sculpture park.

Produced by Princess Estelle Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Tekniska Museet (the National Museum of Science and Technology) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Roof of Reflection will be shown on recurring dates this autumn at Tekniska Museet in Stockholm as well as at Wisdome cinemas around the country.
