Edwin Langmann: On Calogero-Moser-Ruijsenaars type models and special functions

Quantum systems of Calogero-Moser-Ruijsenaars type were originally introduced as integrable models in quantum mechanics but later have received interest by mathematicians with different specializations, including combinatorics, representation theory, special functions theory, geometry etc. I will try to give an introduction to this topic, share some recent results, and explain what drives us in on-going projects.
