David Nilsson new board member at WaterAid Sweden

David Nilsson, associate professor and centre director of WaterCentre @ KTH, has been appointed board member of WaterAid Sweden's board. David Nilsson has worked with water issues and global sustainable development for more than 25 years.

‘Over the years, I have seen how WaterAid works to promote everyone's access to water and sanitation, in a way that is both action-oriented and long-term. I’m very happy to now get the opportunity to be part of that journey.’

WaterAid  is an international organisation with the vision of a world where everyone has access to clean water and sanitation. WaterAid works with concrete aid and advocacy in currently 27 countries. Since its start in 1981, 21 million people have gotten access to clean water and sanitation as a result of WaterAid's work. WaterAid was established in Sweden 2009.

WaterCentre@KTH  is a platform for innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration across scientific and organisational boundaries. The centre was started in February 2017 with funding from KTH in collaboration with the City of Stockholm, IVL Swedish Environmental Institute and Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI).
