The KTH graduation ceremony is held twice in May and twice in December for newly graduated architects, masters of science in engineering and master's degree holders from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology.
Those who have their degree certificates issued by latest the dates below, are eligible to attend the up coming ceremony. Invitations will only be sent to those who have filled in the application of interest to attend the ceremony. Instructions for this application can be found in the folder with your degree certificate. You can only register your interest to attend if you have a degree issued.
The next graduation ceremonies takes place in City Hall May 27 & 28 2020
All students from the schools ABE and EECS as well as Masters of Science in Engineering (five year programme) from the school of CBH will graduate May 27th.
Students from the schools ITM, SCI as well as Bachelors and Masters of Science (one and two year programme) from the school of CBH will graduate May 28th.
Last day for registration is April 26th or when the number of registered grauates have reached 400, on a first come- first served basis. If you cannot register in time because we closed earlier than RSVP date, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and civic registration number and we will put you on the priority list to next upcoming graduation ceremony. This only applies if you have emailed within 3 days after the registration closed ie April 29th.
Invitations will be sent by e-mail from Apeil 21, only to those who have signed the inquiry and have had their degree issued in Ladok. You will find instructions on how to register your interest in the same envelope as your degree certificate. You need to register your attendance when you receive the invitation in order to get the entrance tickets you need.

If you are unable to attend, you have a possibility to postpone your attendance up to 1 year after the date your degree was issued.
The graduation ceremony
The ceremony starts at 5 p.m. with the presentation of degree diplomas in the Blue Hall.
The ceremony is followed by a cocktail reception in the Blue and Golden Hall. All graduates are welcome to attend the reception with their guests free of charge.
(Please note that the diploma presented in this ceremony is not a degree certificate. Your certificate will be sent to your home address if you don't pick it up yourself at the university.)
The dress code is formal evening dress or neat business attire for graduates and graduates guests.
Rehearsal of the ceremony

All graduates are invited to 3.30 p.m. to participate in the rehearsal. The rehearsal takes place in the City hall and takes about one hour.
Graduates guests are welcome from 4.20 p.m.
Due to the fire regulations in City Hall, a total amount of graduates and their guests cannot exceed 1200. Hence, since we will close the registration when/if we reaches the limit of 400 graduates earlier that RSVP date, all graduates have a posibility to register a maximum of two accompagnying guests. About two weeks after last day to register has passed, we will email your entrance tickets and additional information regarding the ceremony.
Since the rehearsal starts at 3.30 p.m. graduates and graduates guests can not arrive together. Main entrance will open for the guests at 4.20 p.m.
