Why We Should Care About Discipline Based Education Research?
Part of KTH’s educational and quality seminar series led by Vice Dean Per Berglund.
Discipline Based Education Research explores the learner experience in a discipline with a focus on how to understand the learning process, and ultimately to innovate and improve disciplinary learning. Research results help us to understand how our students learn and become a part of our disciplinary community, improve learning of difficult concepts, and help to make our educational environment more inclusive and high performing. This talk provides an overview of recent developments in the area and how this type of research can be integrated into "one KTH”.
Time: Tue 2017-11-14 12.15 - 13.00
Location: Kollegiesalen, Brinellvägen 8
