9:00-11:00 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA)

MSCA is a successful instrument supporting the mobility of the best and most promising scientists in Europe. This session will present the instrument and its novelties in Horizon Europe. You will also hear the success story of KTH MSCA fellow Sarunas Girdzijauskas, a two-time MSCA ITN project grantee and coordinator.

This session is organized in collaboration with the Nordic5Tech alliance.

13:00-14:00 Horizon Europe cluster: Climate, Energy and Mobility

How and what type of research related to climate, energy and mobility will be funded during the first years of Horizon Europe?

The Pillar 2 of the Horizon Europe “Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness” is designed to strengthen the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing Union policies, and support the uptake of innovative solutions in industry and society to address global challenges. To maximise impact flexibility and synergies, research and innovation activities will be organised in five clusters, of which research related to climate, energy and mobility is one.

Cluster 5 on climate, energy and mobility will be presented by the Swedish National Contact Point (Vinnova). You will also hear from Peter Göransson (KTH) on his participation in project AEREALIST (H2020, Smart, Green and Integrated Transport).

14:00-15:00 Horizon Europe cluster: Food, bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

How and what type of research related to food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment will be funded during the first years of Horizon Europe?

15:00-16:00 Horizon Europe cluster: Civil security for Society

How and what type of research will be funded during the first years of Horizon Europe in the cluster for Civil Security for Society?

The Pillar 2 of the Horizon Europe “Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness” is designed to strengthen the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing Union policies, and support the uptake of innovative solutions in industry and society to address global challenges. To maximise impact flexibility and synergies, research and innovation activities will be organised in five clusters, of which the cluster dedicated to civil security for society is one.

Cluster 6 on Civil Security for Society will be presented by the Swedish National Contact Point (Vinnova). You will also hear from Simon Hacks (KTH) on his project EnergyShields (Horizon 2020) of where KTH is the leader of Work Package dedicated to dissemination and communication activities
