The European Research Council (ERC) continues its mission to fund high quality frontier research. The ERC instrument and its novelties will be presented by the Swedish National Contact Point for ERC (Swedish Research Council, VR).You will also hear about the experiences from KTH ERC grantees.

How and what type of health-related research will be funded during the first years of Horizon Europe?

The Pillar 2 of the Horizon Europe “Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness” is designed to strengthen the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing Union policies, and support the uptake of innovative solutions in industry and society to address global challenges. To maximize impact flexibility and synergies, research and innovation activities will be organised in five clusters, of which health-related research is one.

Cluster 1 on health will be presented by the Swedish National Contact Point (Vinnova). You will also hear from Rossen Apostolov (KTH) on his health-related project BioExcel (Horizon 2020).

How and what type of research related to digital development, industry and space will be funded during the first years of Horizon Europe?

Cluster 4 on digital, industry and space will be presented by the Swedish National Contact Point (Vinnova). You will also hear from Benoit Baudry (KTH) on his project STAMP (Horizon 2020).

15:00-16:00 Networking for EU-proposals

Video Networking for EU-proposals
The Crowdhelix network is a global platform, connecting participants from universities, research organisations, SMEs and businesses looking for opportunities to collaborate for research and innovation. The network focuses on forging links between excellent researchers and innovating companies on collaboration in proposals and projects under H2020 and the upcoming Horizon Europe. KTH is member of the network, providing KTH researchers with access to its services.

You will also hear from Martin Törngren (KTH) experienced in networking and multidisciplinary research on EU-level, on the topic of networking for EU-proposals and his successful partner search strategies and tactics.
