Gender Parity is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful and sustainable world. Equal access to education, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision making processes are not only the rights women should have, but will benefit humanity at large. By investing in the empowerment of women, we not only make progress on Goal 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals, but also make gains on the alleviation of poverty and fuel sustainable economic growth. Action and Reporting go hand in hand to understand on “Where we are and What is the future we Want”.

Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF) in collaboration with Global Reporting Initiative South Asia (GRI SA) aims to bring together diverse stakeholders to reflect and brainstorm on experiences around contributions to SDGs with a specific focus on women empowerment across relevant goals. Key insights and discussions will be shared by experts from the business and non-profit fraternity. Participants in the event will be CSR and Sustainability heads of corporates, government representatives, leaders from academic institutions etc. We would be glad to have your presence in being a part of this dialogue.
