Publishing non-traditional digital research outputs at KTH
As a researcher at KTH, you can deposit data in the KTH Data Repository and obtain a DOI for your dataset. Do you also consider code, models, and applications as part of your published research output? You can now make these available as citable digital objects with a DOI.
Time: Mon 2026-05-25 13.00 - 14.00
Location: Zoom – no registration
Language: English
Participating: Rosa Lönneborg, KTH Research Data
KTH Research Data now offers an opportunity to learn more about how to publish non-traditional research outputs, such as data as well as source code, software, models, and applications , and to provide feedback for the continued development of features in the KTH Data Repository. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with other users.
Would you like to learn how it works? You are welcome to join one of our digital user group meetings:
- Tuesday 5 May, 13:00–14:00 (Zoom)
- Monday 25 May, 13:00–14:00 (Zoom)
Increased visibility for your research
Work has been carried out to make your open and FAIR data discoverable via:
- The Swedish National Data Service portal
- Swedish and European open data portals
This increases the visibility of KTH’s digital research outputs.
What’s coming next? (launch this autumn)
During the session, you will also get a preview of the next version of the KTH Data Repository:
- Update of the DataCite metadata (affecting the choice of publication type)
- Most changes are optional
- Some features can be enabled immediately
- Others require further development and maintenance
