Nuclear Energy plays a central role in Europe’s electricity production and is a fossil-free alternative source of electricity and heat for decarbonizing our energy system. KTH has a special connection to the Swedish nuclear history since the first reactor, R1, was built on campus. This will be showcased in a new exhibition at KTH Library.

The exhibition will be inaugurated with a vernissage on 15 April from 13:00 to 14:00 in the Entrance Hall of KTH Library.

Our keynote speakers are:

  • Anders Söderholm, President, KTH

  • Pär Olsson, Leader for KTH Nexus and Professor in Nuclear Engineering, KTH

The opening will be held in English. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
