Limited opening hours at KTH Library
This applies to KTH Library until January 24, due to the stricter national guidelines.
Limited opening hours
The main library will be closed between December 22 and January 6. As of January 7 and until January 24, we will open for two hours a day – weekdays between 12 noon and 2 pm – so that students and employees at KTH can access our printed materials. The libraries in Kista and Södertälje can be accessed by KTH students and employees with their access cards.
Borrowing and returning books
Remember that you can return books in the library's book drop at any time of the day. The book drop is placed outside the library building, you do not have to enter the library to return your books. No late fees will apply between December 22 and January 24.
Our external stacks
Due to the stricter general guidelines, neither printed books nor other material from the KTH Library's external stacks are currently delivered. Please get back to us after January 24 with your requests for interlibrary loan or purchase of printed books. E-books and articles are delivered as usual.
Access to electronic material off campus
As a student or employee with a KTH account, you automatically have access to all electronic material through the library, even if you work remotely.
Databases and electronic resources
As a student or employee at KTH you can access our electronic resources and databases as usual, and you can still order electronic material.
Digital tutoring
We offer tutoring and introductions to talking books via zoom. You don’t need to have any program installed, we will send you a link where you can join when it’s time for the consultation.
