Limited opening hours at KTH Library

This applies at KTH Library to the end of the year due to the stricter general guidelines in Stockholm.

General KTH guidelines due to Covid-19 restrictions

Limited opening hours

The main library is open Monday – Friday between 9.30–18.30. The libraries in Kista and Södertälje can be accessed by KTH students and employees with their access cards.

Closed group rooms

As we cannot ensure social distancing in our group rooms, these have been temporarily closed for studies. This means that you cannot book group rooms right now.

Borrowing and returning books

Since the library is open, ordinary rules apply for loaning and returning books. Most loans are automatically renewed every 14 days for up to six months if no one else reserves the book. When the maximum number of days has been reached, or if someone reserves the book, it must be returned no later than the date on your library account. Remember that you can return books in the library's book drop at any time of the day. The book drop is placed outside the library building, you do not have to enter the library to return your books.

Access to electronic material off campus

As a student or employee with a KTH account, you automatically have access to all electronic material through the library, even if you work remotely.
