Library services during summer 2025
KTH Library has limited opening hours and services during the summer holidays, but our digital support is open on weekdays all summer.

Loans, requests and orders
Summer loans
All loans from 26 May (not including interlibrary loans) have extended loan periods until 18 August at the earliest.
If you wish to know your specific return dates, log into your library account .
During the library's closed period you cannot visit the library or borrow books. You can request books and order interlibrary loans all summer, but you can only pick up books when the library is open.
If you want to return material, you can do so in the book drop outside the main library's entrance. The book drop is open all summer.
If you don't need a specific book during summer, remember to return your loans before summer!
Access to electronic material off campus
As a student or employee with a KTH account, you automatically have access to all electronic material through the library, even if you work remotely.

Booked consultations
During summer, there are no bookable times for consultations in our booking form, but if you need assistance during summer, please write to us on biblioteket@kth.se and we will do our best to help you.
