Get inspired - attend the SIYSS-seminar December 6th
It is time for this year’s edition of Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar – an event aiming to inspire youth to pursue their interest in science and technology. SIYSS 2018 will take place at Skandiascenen (Cirkus, Djurgården) on December 6th.
KTH will be represented by Danya Mohamad, who has been selected in September and will present her project.
KTH students are welcome to participate in this event. The day is filled with inspiring presentations and poster sessions with 25 young scientists from all over the world. They will present impressive research projects in a wide range of fields – from antibiotic resistance to dark matter.
Ulf Danielsson, professor in theoretical physics at Uppsala University will hold a guest lecture. He frequently speaks to broad audiences, sharing his curiosity, passion, and knowledge about the universe.
In addition, FysikShow from the University of Stockholm will join as well as representatives from the Swedish Federation of Young Scientists (Unga Forskare).
The day will be divided into a forenoon (09:00-11:30) and afternoon block (12:30-15:00), separated by the guest lecture (11:40-12:10). Each block has two lecture sessions, during which our participants present their projects on stage. The poster hall will be open at all times.
Register before the 5th December! It’s free and only takes a few minutes!
Welcome to SIYSS 2018!
