KTH Library is temporarily closed

KTH Library is closed until further notice due to the novel Coronavirus.

During this period, you can still reach us by phone, chat and email and all students and employees at KTH can access our e-resources as usual.

Loans, reservations and returns

Your loans at KTH Library are automatically extencec every fourteen days, and the maximum limit for how long a book can be borrowed in total has been extended. At the moment, no reservations can be made. During this period, no late fees will be charged. If you still get a claim, you can ignore it.

If you wish to know your specific return dates, please log in to your library account .

If you wish to return a book, please do so using the book drop outside the main library entrance.

During the period when the library is closed, it is not possible to reserve, borrow or order printed material. Instead, we refer to our electronic resources.  Previously reserved books will not be released. 

If you are a student or employee at KTH and have an urgent need to access our printed collections, we will still try to help to the best of our ability. Get in touch with us via chat or email. If you are not affiliated with KTH, we will unfortunately not be able to help you during this period.

Increased times for digital tutoring

In order to support all students in their studies, we offer increased times for tutoring and introductions to talking books via zoom. You don’t need to have any program installed, we will send you a link where you can join when it’s time for the consultation.

Access to electronic material off campus

As a student or employee with a KTH account, you automatically have access to all electronic material through the library, even if you work remotely.
