Welcome to a new semester at KTH Library
At the library, you can find study places, books and digital resources. We also offer tutorials, talking books introductions, lectures and seminars. Here is all the information you need about the library's services during the autumn semester.
Open with regular opening hours
KTH Library is happy to welcome all students back to campus this autumn. As of August 16, the main library is open Monday–Friday 8 am–6 pm, and as of August 30, we have regular opening hours, which means the main library is open 8 am–9 pm Monday–Thursday, 8 am–7 pm on Fridays and 10 am–4 pm on Saturdays. Our libraries in Kista and Södertälje are open from August 6, and manned from August 16.
Please note that between 8 and 9.30 am, KTH main library is only available to KTH students and employees with access cards. The entrance hall is open to everyone from 8 am.
However, we would like to stress that it is still important to maintain physical distance, and to stay home even with mild symptoms.
To help you plan your visit to the main library, we have sensors that tell you how many people are in the library at any given moment.
If you feel unsafe, or if you see anything we can improve for the wellbeing of our visitors, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Use the speech synthesis program Tortalk
All students at KTH get free access to Tortalk on their computer. Tortalk reads digital texts out loud. It is a great aid for those with reading difficulties, as well as those who prefer to read and listen at the same time.
