Services for analysis

Here we present the services we are developing to be able to analyze KTH's research. To get help or support in using them, you can always contact us.

ABM – Annual Bibliometric Monitoring

Data from ABM
In ABM, you can see KTH data from different perspectives.

Annual Bibliometric Monitoring is an interactive presentation of KTH research with respect to publication. For schools and institutions, the basis can be used as a data source in quality dialogues and in follow-up work. In ABM, data from DiVA and Bibmet is used, and results are presented for the entire KTH as well as at school, department, and individual levels. In the ABM service, you can find information about KTH's publication, bibliometric indicators, co-publication, open access and the United Nations sustainable development goals (SDG). This analysis covers the publication years seven years back in time and is published around November each year. ABM can provide an overview of the impact of KTH's research and is presented both as a public and logged-in version.

KTH Research Information – analysis tool for KTH's research output

In KTH Research Information, you can, among other things, create visualizations of publication patterns from a geographical perspective.

KTH Research Information is intended as a complement to ABM, providing in-depth and more detailed analysis. This service enables filtering based on collaborative countries and organizations for analyzing publications and citation impact at school, department, and group levels. Unlike ABM, data is also updated throughout the year. The service relies on data from Web of Science, Bibmet, KTH's personnel system, and project data from CASE (see definition under data sources). Here, you can also find network visualizations of co-publications worldwide and explore interactive map views. To access this service, you need to be logged in to KTH. The service is continuously under development, and improvement measures are regularly implemented in the user interface.
