Title: Electrification of heavy vehicles at Scania
Abstract:
The presentation will focus on the basic background for the technology and how this technology can be used to fulfill the need of the customers.
Bio:
Christer Thorén is a project leader at Scania since 2002. Before that, he worked at Ericsson and ABB with the development of power electronics for telecom and rail. For the last 10 years, Christer has worked with the electrification of heavy vehicles at Scania with the main focus to lead the Electric Road Systems (ERS) development. He has also been responsible for the first hybrid battery that was developed specifically for Scania.
