The Swedish Cyber Security Challenge (SCSC) is a national Capture The Flag contest for young people (ages 16-25) with the goal of promoting cyber security activities and training in Sweden. SCSC is part of the European Cyber Security Challenge  (ECSC), an initiative by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) that aims at enhancing cybersecurity talent across Europe and connecting high potentials with industry leading organizations. The winners of the national SCSC contests will represent Sweden in the ECSC 2022 to be held in Vienna (Austria) in September 13-16.

About SCSC 2022

The national qualifiers consist of security-related challenges from domains such as web security, mobile security, crypto, reverse engineering, and forensics, which the participants have to solve in order to collect points. The best 10 participants will secure a place in the Swedish national team, which will go on to compete in the ECSC 2022  finals in Vienna.

On the road to Vienna

The SCSC competition is structured in 2 separate competitions, SCSC juniors (ages 16-19) and SCSC seniors (ages 19-25). Each competition consists of 2 rounds with the goal of selecting 20-30 participants to be invited to a final bootcamp. The bootcamp consists of a 1-week training and competition with the goal of selecting the best 10 participants of the Swedish national team.
