The Department of Electric Power and Energy Systems

The department of Electric Power and Energy Systems' research and education covers including electricity markets facilitating renewable electricity generation and its integration into the system, power system dynamics, operation and control, power electronics including its application in grids, electric drives and machines including applications in electric transportation and resilient communication and control systems.

Studies

The department is highly involved in teaching and gives courses and programmes for bachelor-, master- and Ph.D. students. The department also offer master degree projects.

Research

The department consists of 25 faculty, researchers and affiliated faculty who together with close to 60 Ph.D. students conduct research with international and Swedish collaborators.
