Event to attract the space industry

Interest in space research is growing, and in April, KTH and Visit Kista are organising "Space Rendezvous", an event that they hope will attract many people.
”The hope is that students will become aware of the space industry in Sweden”, says Carl-Mikael Zetterling, deputy director of KTH's space centre.
This year, "Space Rendezvous" will occur on Electrum's premises in Kista. One of the main reasons behind this is the innovation cluster in Kista around space.
”There is an extensive network in Kista, but there is also an interest from many actors who want to participate and an appetite to meet”, says Marco Giertz, CEO of Visit Kista.
One of the main attractions - Christer Fuglesang
One of the main attractions this year is Christer Fuglesang, astronaut, the Swedish Space Agency, STING - European Space Accelerator and I.S.A.A.C - International Space Asset Acceleration will present during the day. The aim is to strengthen and contribute to the space industry in Sweden.
”There will also be several investors present, which we hope will lead to new projects and eventually discoveries”, says Giertz.
The hope is to attract 250 people to the event on 27 April.
”We already see much interest, so if you are interested and want to participate, it is best to register as soon as possible”, says Zetterling.
