KTH Life Science Platform
Life Science is one of six multidisciplinary focus areas at KTH that is formed by the convergence of engineering, natural and mathematical sciences with life sciences. Several research groups at KTH are world leading in their areas of expertise within life science technology.
The KTH Life Science Platform connects seven thematic research areas that mostly concerns human health and the healthcare system, but also adjacent areas, e g environment and sustainability. The common denominator of all research is the contribution to human wellbeing.
An important goal is to facilitate interaction between expertise at KTH and external partners within academia, public organisations and companies with an interest in Life Science research.
