Information regarding deactivation of e-mail/KTH Account
In line with decision (V-2019-0587) and starting 1st of October 2019, KTH will start deactivating e-mail accounts and other IT resources for people that quit KTH. Deactivation is done manually, on request from the processes for termination of employment and other affiliations. KTH's schools/GVS can make decisions regarding potential exceptions and manually affiliate persons to KTH that they are responsible for.
The time to process a deactivation may vary depending on how the processes are set up at the different schools/GVS.
If you have already quit from KTH, you will be notified by e-mail regarding the upcoming deactivation and be given a time limited opportunity to migrate your e-mail usage to another e-mail provider.
The decision is available to view as PDF document (In Swedish), click here (pdf 1.1 MB)
