  • Omanis look to strengthen higher education at home

    Tuesday’s visit to KTH Royal Institute of Technology by Oman’s Ministry of Higher Education was somewhat of a study in contrasts. Seeking to build up its relatively-young public university system, officials from the desert kingdom visited an institution with a two-century tradition of fostering successful companies and research.

  • KTH at Nordic Energy Outlook

    The KTH Energy Platform put the university’s research breadth on display in March at the annual Nordic Energy Outlook conference in Gothenburg. Staged by the Swedish Energy Agency, the conference brought together producers, consumers, regulators and academics for three days of exhibitions and presentations.

  • Summer sessions bring together Chinese and Swedish students

    Almost 80 students and teachers from China and Sweden met at KTH in late August for a week of inspirational lectures on a broad range of interdisciplinary topics in biomedicine. The joint Swedish/Chinese summer school and workshop is held to motivate students to enrol in exchange programs and to embark on innovative biomedical research.

  • KTH, Tsinghua Launch C-Campus Virtual Learning Collaboration

    The Royal Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University have jointly committed to building a novel online learning environment for students and researchers in Sweden and China. At ceremonies in Beijing on Sept 12, officials described the ambitious collaboration — known as C-Campus — as a substantial expansion of the two universities’ nearly 10-year-old relationship.
