  • Thailand: Chulalongkorn University

    Chulalongkorn University is the first public university in Thailand and was founded in 1917. The university has about 40,000 students and is a comprehensive university with about 500 programs, among them about 90 are international programs that are taught in English.   • Japan: Kyoto University

    Kyoto University is the oldest universities in Japan, located in Kyoto, the former royal capital of Japan. Spread across three different campuses, it is one among the top 100 universities of the world. More than 23,000 students currently study in the university, of which more than 1,900 students are international. Several Nobel laureats come from this university.

  • Japan: Keio University

    Keio University is one of the oldest universities in Japan, founded in 1858. More than 33,000 students study at the university, spread over six campuses in the greater Tokyo area. Of these, around 1.300 are international students. The university ranks among the 300 best universities in the world.

  • Japan: Shibaura Institute of Technology

    Shibaura Institute of Technology is a private university located in Tokyo, founded in 1927. There are around 8,000 students studying at one of the three different campuses.

  • Taiwan: National Taiwan University

    National Taiwan University is ranked as top 100 university in the world and one of the leading universities in subject areas such as electrical engineering and natural science. It has six campi with the main campus, three times the size of KTH Campus, in Taipei's Da'an District.

  • Taiwan: National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University

    National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is one of Taiwan's leading public research universities located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. National Yang Ming University (hereinafter referred to as Yang Ming) and National Chiao Tung University (hereinafter referred to as Chiao Tung) has formally merged into the “National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University” (NYCU) on February 1, 2021. Yang Ming, which focuses on biomedical research, and Chiao Tung, which focuses on electronic communication research. It is a comprehensive university consisting of nine colleges with 1,400 full-time faculty members and 17,000 students. Apart from being highly ranked in subjects like biomedical, computer science and engineering, NYCU is known for it's many athletic facilities on campus, open to all students.

  • Taiwan: National Sun Yat-sen University

    National Sun Yat-sen University is a public research university located in Sizihwan in southern Taiwan. The university has around 10,000 students within a wide range of subject areas. The NSYSU campus is a habitat and natural fortress, surrounded on all sides by sea and mountain.

  • Taiwan: National Cheng Kung University

    National Cheng Kung University is a comprehensive university and viewed as one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan, with a high reputation in science, engineering, medicine, management, planning and design. It is located in Tainan City and home to over 20,000 students in nine colleges on eleven campuses.

  • Australia: Curtin University of Technology

    Curtin University ranks top 15 among Australian universities and top 300 among world universities. It is the largest university in Western Australia situated in Perth, by the Pacific Ocean. There are more than 60,000 students of which more than 19,000 are international. The areas available are business, humanities, health, resources, engineering and related sciences.

  • USA: California Polytechnic State University

    Cal Poly is a nationally ranked, comprehensive public university located in San Luis Obispo, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California's Central Coast. It is one of five comprehensive polytechnic universities in the US and has approx. 19,000 students. Cal Poly’s motto is ”Learning by Doing” as all student programs have a technical, professional, and arts component. Student apartments are avaialable on campus but many students prefer private apartments or houses near campus which are readily available.

  • Australia: University of Queensland

    University of Queensland is one of Australia’s oldest and most renowned universities. Situated by the river in Brisbane, it hosts around 20,000 international students out of nearly 55,000 students. It is ranked fourth among the Australian universities and offers many study areas, e.g. Business, Economics, Tourism and Law, Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology, Environment and Planning, Science and Mathematics.

    Tokyo Institute of Technology is a national research university located in Tokyo. It is among the top 10 universities of Japan and the top 200 universities of the world.

    Kyushu University is one of the public universities in Japan, located in Kyushu. More than 28,000 students study at the university, of which more than 1,800 students are international. The university is ranked among the top 200 in the world.

  • USA: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

    University of Illinois, ranked among the top 50 universities in the world, is one of KTH’s strategic partnerships with a vast array of collaborations ranging from summer courses, joint and online programs, and research. UI is located in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana in east-central Illinois. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive south of Chicago (140 miles). The university comprises of 17 colleges that are spread out between the two cities including a large number of research facilities connected to industry. There is a main street that students refer to as Campus Town that gives a true Big Ten University college feeling.

  • Ireland: Trinity College Dublin

    Trinity College Dublin is formally named "College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin". It was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. The university has a large campus situated in central Dublin with more than 17,000 students on all levels. As Ireland's leading university, Trinity has a global position in higher education.

  • France: École Polytechnique

    Ecole Polytechnique is a French public institution of higher education and research, located in Palaiseau near Paris. Polytechnique was formed in 1794 during the French Revolution, and became a military school during Napoleon I in 1804. Among its alumni are three Nobel Prize winners, three French presidents and many company leaders.

  • USA: University of Texas at Austin

    UT Austin is the flagship school of the University of Texas System, which includes nine academic universities. UT Austin is home to more than 51,000 students whom are committed to the spirit of Austin and the Longhorn athletic teams. Austin is internationally renowned for music, film and art scene, along with Texas sunshine and lake running through the city.   • Czech Republic: Czech Technical University in Prague

    CTU in Prague is one of the largest and oldest technical universities in Europe. It was founded in 1707 and has eight faculties and approximately 21,000 students. The university is located in central Prague and is popular among exchange universities. CTU is very active in international networks and partnerships such as Erasmus +.

  • China: Shanghai Jiao Tong University

    SJTU is one of the first national institutions of higher education and has become a comprehensive, research-oriented, and internationalized top 5 university in China. The university has 16,188 undergraduates and 28,842 postgraduates and 2,134 overseas students. SJTU is among KTH´s six strategic partner universities in the world, and have long history of collaborations at various levels with KTH. SJTU has nine major disciplines, namely economics, law, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and arts.

  • China: City University of Hong Kong

    City University of Hongkong is one among the top universities of Hong Kong and is among the top 50 universities of the world, located in Kowloon. It is a public research university and more than 19,000 students study here.

  • Switzerland: Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH)

    ETH was founded in 1854 as the Eidgenössische Polytechnische Schule and began operations in Zurich in 1855. ETH is one of the world's most prestigious universities, and offers excellent research opportunities. The university is ranked among the best in the world. Overall, 21 Nobel Prize winners conducted studies or worked as professors at the university. It has over 18,000 students registered.
