KTH-dESA participated in the 10th annual meeting of the Integrated Assessment Modeling Consortium (IAMC), held in Recife, Brazil, from 5 - 7 December. The IAMC is a group of scientific research organizations that pursues scientific understanding of issues associated with integrated assessment modeling and analysis. It was created in 2007 in result of an IPCC call for the creation of a research organization to lead international efforts in integrated assessment modelling in the development of scenarios to be employed by climate modelling teams in the investigation of near and long term climate futures. The meeting was hosted and organized by UFRJ - COPPE, lead by Prof. Roberto Shaeffer. It counted with over 100 participants, a poster session and several parallel sessions on different topics, such as methodological aspects of IAMs; analysis of climate change, climate impacts and adaptation in IAMs; and national and regional adaptation pathways. Eunice Ramos, from KTH-dESA, gave an oral presentation in one of the parallel sessions about lessons from integrated assessments developed by KTH-dESA and partners.
