Department of Energy Technology
The Department of Energy Technology offers the PhD programme in Energy and Environmental Systems. The programme includes mandatory courses for all PhD students at the department. ECS students also have specific mandatory courses in systems analysis, in line with the systems approaches of our research. Other courses can be chosen based on the unique profile of the project in question, and this should be done in agreement with the supervisor to guarantee the full eligibility of the courses. All students prepare a workplan together with the supervisor(s), and the plan is periodically revised as the PhD studies proceed. Funding must be secured before the studies are started.
