Entrepreneurship, regulation and dynamic markets
This project spans over four years and starts 2012. It deals with several aspects of regulation and its impact on entrepreneurship and market dynamism and is organized around five workpackages: i) regulations and incentives for entrepreneurship and growing firms, ii) regulated labour markets and innovation, iii) regulation of financial markets and innovation, iv) regulation of firms operating in the welfare sectors, v) regulation on immigrant entrepreneurship, and, vi) policy conclusions.
The Economics of Entrepreneurship
This research program is organized around different themes. Those are entrepreneurship and taxes, entrepreneurship and labour mobility, academic entrepreneurship, high-performing entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial spin-offs, institutions and entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship and venture capital. Altogether nine teams, composed by international top scholars (e.g Joshua Gans, Roger Gordon, Steven Klepper, Josh Lerner, Marie Thursby) and a relatively junior but distinguished, Swedish researcher, work on these respective issues. This program will be concluded 2012/13.
