A circular future for solar panels

Join us for a day of presentations, discussions, and collaboration as we explore the transition to a circular future for the solar industry in Sweden.
Time: Mon 2025-06-02
Location: KTH, Gradängsalen, Teknikringen 1, Stockholm
Language: Presentations in English and discussions in English or Swedish
Participating: Invited participants giving diverse perspectives on solar panel circularity
Policy innovation is about finding new and better ways to solve challenges through rules, laws, or guidelines. It involves updating existing policies or creating new ones to make systems more efficient, fair, and sustainable.
During this theme day on a circular future for solar panels, two workshops will be held that build on previous discussions and ongoing work in the SVPI Lab and CircSolar projects. The workshops are based on policy innovation proposals related to solar panels and circularity, and explores what these could mean in practice.
The invited participants bring different perspectives on challenges and opportunities within solar panels and circularity. The discussion will provide valuable insights, and the goal is to co-create solutions that make a difference. Eventually the refined policy proposals will be presented to decision-makers.
We look forward to meet, share, and co-create a sustainable circular future for solar energy!
Participation is free of charge.
