Researcher at INDEK arranged international project research conference

The 9th Making Projects Critical workshop was held at Mälardalen University 17-18 January 2019. Monica Lindgren and Johann Packendorff from INDEK arranged the conference together with former INDEK scholars Lucia Crevani and Anette Hallin (today both associate professors at MU) and Svetlana Cicmil (University of the West of England) and Damian Hodgson (Manchester University). 24 scholars from 16 universities in five countries spend two intense days presenting and discussing topics such as projectification of the public sector, projectified selves in social media and freelancing, professions and artificial intelligence, sustainability contradictions, performativity of project management, agile project management, sociomateriality, and much more. MPC workshops has been arranged by Cicmil, Hodgson, Lindgen and Packendorff since 2003.
