"The KTH Innovation Readiness Level has been at the core of the Global Change Award from the start in 2015, giving the early stage innovators going through the one year accelerator program a tool for assessing their progress, a common language and a structure to create impactful content for the accelerator support".

KTH is a partner in the international innovation challenge Global Change Award, which was launched in 2015 by the non-profit H&M Foundation . The initiative aims to catalyze early-stage innovations that can accelerate the transformation of the fashion and textile industry into a planet positive one.

The Award

Every year, the ten winners of the Global Change Award receive a 200,000 euro grant and embark on the one-year GCA Impact Accelerator programme created by H&M Foundation together with the core partners KTH, Accenture  and The Mills Fabrica . The programme is tailored to meet the needs of each team and help them develop and scale their innovations for impact.
