Global collaboration for a more sustainable fashion industry
KTH is a partner in the Global Change Award, the world's largest innovation challenge aiming to make the fashion and textile industry more sustainable.
KTH is a partner in the international innovation challenge Global Change Award, which was launched in 2015 by the non-profit H&M Foundation . The initiative aims to catalyze early-stage innovations that can accelerate the transformation of the fashion and textile industry into a planet positive one.
The Award
Every year, the ten winners of the Global Change Award receive a 200,000 euro grant and embark on the one-year GCA Impact Accelerator programme created by H&M Foundation together with the core partners KTH, Accenture and The Mills Fabrica . The programme is tailored to meet the needs of each team and help them develop and scale their innovations for impact.
Accelerator for innovation
In the partnership, KTH Innovation contributes with our almost 20 years of experience in supporting early-stage tech innovations. The KTH Innovation Readiness LevelTM , an innovation framework developed by KTH Innovation and is used by over 1500 organizations worldwide, represents a core part of the Accelerator program.
The winners
The winners of the Global Change Award develop innovations within material, production, recycling, design and customer use.
