Startups and spinoffs from KTH have secured over 150 million SEK in funding and investment this spring. From the world's fastest image annotation system to bone glue, here are the teams to keep track of.

Despite the special situation this spring, many of the teams we currently support, and our alumni have made great achievements worth celebrating. Here are some of them!

Millions in competitive EU funding

Since the start of the new competitive European Innovation council acceleration program, nine Swedish startups have been accepted, and three of them started their journey with support from KTH Innovation; Gleechi ,  TADA Medical AB  and Invoier . Swedish innovators share 314 million Euro in EU support.

SuperAnnotate raises 30 MSEK

Research-based spinoff SuperAnnotate secured a 30MSEK investment and were featured in Business Insider , TechCrunch ,  and more.

5 MSEK for Volta Greentech to reduce cow burps

Volta Greentech , Batch 10 of the KTH Innovation pre -incubator program, brought in 5 MSEK and were featured by Fast Company .

Nine KTH startups got Vinnova funding

Nine KTH startups, most of them currently or previously from the  got funding in Vinnova’s Innovative Startup call: Univid , Rental Sense , ipercept , Andning Med , Voyley , Exciscope , Finecell , Budkeep  and Volta Greentech .

Spotyet adapted to the pandemic

SpotYet , Batch 10 of the KTH Innovation pre-incubator program, came up with and developed a whole new product: SpotYet Virtual, a Slack bot that randomly connects people for a quick social meetup. Biomedical Bonding secured 40 MSEK from Horizon 2020

Biomedical Bonding  secured 40MSEK from the EU research and innovation program Horizon 2020 to develop future bone healing implants.

Klimato launched an app for climate-friendly meals

Klimato  launched a consumer app, giving access to discounted climate-smart meals to everyone. Available on Appstore  and Google Play .

SeenXR contributes to the future of self-driving cars

Ericsson highlighted ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) , which core is built on SEEN XR’s technology and algorithms.

Nightli brings nightlife back

Nightli , Batch 10 of the KTH Innovation pre-incubator program, launched a beta version of their nightclub app and ran their first pilot project with a night club in Västervik just a week before the pandemic shut everything down. Since then, they’ve optimized the app and tried new solutions adapted to our new situation.

Logistics startup Shippy close to launching their beta

Shippy , Batch 10 of the KTH Innovation pre-incubator program, finalized a beta version of their app that will be launched in just a few weeks. 

Investment and Asian expansion for Furhat Robotics

Furhat Robotics launched a new website  and expands in Asia and after bringing in fresh investment .

20 MSEK for EVAM - saving lives with digital solutions
