KTH is one of nine technical universities in Europe that are part of the university alliance Unite! - University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering. The aim is to create a new European university model through joint educational programs, virtual and physical mobility, and innovative pedagogical methods. As a student at KTH, you are offered a variety of activities that you can participate in at the different universities in the alliance.

As a student at one of the Unite! universities, you have access to a smorgasbord of academic and non-academic offerings from the nine universities in Unite! - courses, joint programmes, MOOCs and extracurricular activities. Explore international study opportunities through Unite webinars
On 12 March, a series of 20-minute webinars will allow you to explore some of Unite's current offers for students. There will be webinars on summer schools, multiculturalism and multilingualism, the upcoming U!Train course - which literally takes you on a study trip across Europe - and finally a webinar on mobility. Apply for funding for your innovative project idea from Unite! Seed Fund
Applications are now open for the Unite! Seed Fund 2025, a fund designed to support innovative collaborative projects between Unite! member universities.
The fund offers financial support to students, researchers and teachers for joint initiatives between at least three Unite! universities (at least two for student initiatives), to foster collaboration and excellence in education, research and innovation.
Deadline for applications: 20 March 2025. Please note that for student projects, contact must first be made with the respective university's Student Liaison Officer by 6 March.

The Unite! Online Language Café is an online space, run by students for students, where you can meet other students from all Unite! universities and talk to them in the Unite! languages:

The fourth call for five PhD grants in Unite! priority areas is now open. Together with Unite! the University of Lisbon, in collaboration with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), will award 5 PhD grants in four of Unite! key areas:

Unite! Graduate School in Speech, Language, and AI Technologies
The overarching objective for the School (result from a Unite! Seed Fund) is to establish a continuous pipeline of exceptional talents, starting from Bachelor's graduates and leading them into a distinctive Master's programme in speech, language and AI technologies offered jointly across Unite! universities. The best Master's graduates will then be recruited as PhD students, strengthening the Graduate School's research profile and influence.
The Unite! Graduate school in Speech Language and AI showcase offers an overview of all the programmes related to this field within the Unite! Partners.
Dates: Master's programs usually start at the beginning of a semester, which can be either the winter or summer semester. However, depending on the university, there may also be specific regulations regarding the start of the program, so better check directly on the website of the respective degree program.
This course introduces the concept of Open Educational Resources for students and teachers at universities. OER are not only an important educational policy issue for international associations such as UNESCO, OER are also part of the call for "Open Science".
This is the first time ever, a MOOC on iMOOX was created and is now available in all Unite! languages for a better understanding and a multicultural approach.
