Report published - KTH and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Every year, the KTH Sustainability Office compiles a report with KTH activities that contribute to each of the UN's Sustainabile Development Goals (SDGs). The report is used as a basis for the THE Impact Rankings and QS World University Rankings, where KTH year after year ranks high in sustainability-related categories. Now, the report for the year 2022 has been published.
KTH works with industry and society in the pursuit of sustainable solutions to some of humanity’s greatest challenges: climate change, future energy supply, urbanisation and quality of life for the rapidly growing elderly population. The SDG report highlights some of the many research, education, outreach and operational activities at KTH that contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2023, KTH was ranked as number 46 in the world in THE Impact Rankings, which address the UN’s 17 global sustainability goals. Further, KTH ranked 73rd among 1,500 universities world wide, in the QS World University Rankings, where KTH's highest score was awarded for sustainability.
