Experiences from a successful career of research and entrepreneurship - Lunch Seminar with Professor Stefan Ståhl
The next event in KTH Innovation’s popular lunch seminar series where we bring up topics specifically for researchers at KTH is soon coming up. This time, we have invited Stefan Ståhl, Professor in Molecular Biotechnology at the Division of Protein Technology at the School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health, to share his experience from a long career as a researcher and entrepreneur at KTH.
Time: Tue 2018-10-02 11.30 - 13.00
Location: Fantum, Lindstedtsvägen 24, 5th floor
Stefan Ståhl is the inventor of a number of patents, and has published more than 190 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He is the cofounder of the biotech companies Creative Peptides AB (1996), Affibody AB (1998), where he also acted as the Chief Scientist Officer when the company grew from 4-65 employees, Visual Bioinformatics AB (1999) and Atlas Therapeutics (2010). Furthermore, he is a member of the board of KTH Holding AB.
Stefan Ståhl will share his knowledge and experience from a successful career of combining research with entrepreneurship. What opportunities and advantages do you have as a researcher at KTH? When is a good time to incorporate? What are the potential pitfalls during the commercialization process?
Gustav Notander, Business Development Coach at KTH Innovation, will join Stefan Ståhl to discuss these questions, while sparing plenty of time for you to ask questions of your own.
Join us on October 2nd, 2018, 11.30-13.00 at Lindstedtsvägen 24, 5th floor. A light lunch will be served.
