KTH Live-In Lab – Testbeds for accelerated innovation

In order to build smart and sustainable buildings we need to use new and resource efficient technologies. We also need to combine products into working systems, enabling the possibilities of digitalization. But new technologies are not tested over long periods in real systems/buildings and will hence not be used. KTH Live-In Lab accelerates innovation thanks to yearly reconfigurations and tests of products and services in real buildings. The aim is to show that new products and services are better than old ones, and to make smart sustainable buildings possible.
