Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important, especially in research. In a number of scientific fields, AI is necessary to enable processing of enormous amounts of data. What scientific breakthroughs can AI lead to? Will these developments affect public confidence in research? And how can AI change and influence the role of researchers – should AI even be awarded Nobel Prizes?
In a conversation at the Nobel Prize Museum, researchers will discuss opportunities, challenges and fears as AI assumes an increasingly important role in research.
This conversation is part of Nobel Calling and is being organised in partnership with Stockholm University, KTH, Karolinska Institutet and the Swedish Research Council.
