Diana Saleh joins IVA’s Swedish Futures steering committee
Diana Saleh is set to contribute to shaping Sweden’s future innovation landscape. Now she’s joining IVA’s vision initiative.
Diana Saleh, a PhD student at the unit Integrated Product Development and Design has been appointed to the steering committee of Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA)’s vision initiative “Swedish Futures”. Here she’ll join leading figures from across academia, industry and public life. The initiative aims to strengthen Sweden’s position as a world-leading technology and innovation nation by 2035.
The project brings together representatives from industry, academia, labour market organisations, the public sector and politics to explore where Sweden stands today – and where it should be heading. The work focuses on analysing Sweden’s strengths, challenges and opportunities from an international perspective.
“I hope to contribute with my research perspective on how collaborative approaches to design can help drive change and strengthen Sweden’s innovation capacity. I am incredibly honoured to join the steering committee and look forward to engaging discussions on key future challenges and opportunities,” says Diana Saleh.
Swedish Futures engages IVA’s 1,300 members alongside a broad range of societal actors. The work is led by Leif Johansson together with IVA’s CEO, Professor Sylvia Schwaag Serger.
