President's advisory bodies

Faculty Council

The Faculty Council  is a university-wide body for KTH's work on quality development and collegial information. The majority of the members are scientifically competent and are appointed by election among the teachers and the researchers. 

The Council represents the entire faculty and acts as an advisory body to the President. The Council has overall responsibility for issues relating to the quality of education, research and community interaction.

President's Council

The President's Council  is a support for the president for handling strategic and other overall issues. The council consists of the president (chairman), deputy president, dean, deputy dean, vice presidents, and university director. Students have the right to be represented by one member.

Strategic Council

The Strategic Council  is a forum for information, discussion, and preparation of university-wide issues of a strategic nature and other overarching issues. The council consists of the president (chairman), deputy president, dean, deputy dean, vice presidents, head of schools, university director, and communications manager. Students have the right to be represented by three members.

Head of School Council

The Head of School Council  deals with school-specific issues, including overall operational issues and employer issues. The council consists of the president (chairman), deputy president, head of schools, and the university director.
