”Audience Choice” with Brahms violin concert

Last year, we turned to our audience and asked: what music is closest to your hearts, and what would you like to hear us perform during the coming season? The response was overwhelming. The commitment and all the thoughtful answers inspired us deeply.

Many of the requests were from the rich treasure trove of the classical repertoire, but there was also music from the world of film and television – melodies that bring back memories and evoke strong emotions.

We have now woven together this evening's programme from all these suggestions. Here, different musical worlds meet: classical masterpieces side by side with beloved tunes from film and stage. Together, they form a musical journey where each piece has been carefully selected – and where each piece is a little gem.
