Tensta Tower
Tensta Tower is a 45 minute commute to the KTH main campus. Tensta Tower is just a few steps away from the subway station Tensta, and all tenants are students and researchers from universities in Stockholm. KTH Relocation has five floors of apartments.
The area
The area of Tensta offers shops, restaurants, pharmacy, local library, gym and an indoor swimming pool. The building has brand-new laundry facilities, bike storage and a small amount of individual space available in the basement for storage. All doors will have electronic locks. The building has two modern elevators. Staff will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the building, during their office hours, if you have any questions, or need something fixed.

The apartments
All apartments offer a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and oven plus pots and pans. Basic kitchen utensils and equipment are provided in the apartment. Dishes and silverware are also included. A kitchen table and two chairs will be included.
All apartments have a separate bathroom with a shower.
You provide your own bedding, or you can state in your housing application that you wish to purchase a start-kit of bedding from KTH Accommodation.
Studio apartment
One bed 140cm with mattress and mattress topper, plus nightstand, lamps and curtains. 21 sqm.
One-bedroom apartment
One bed 140 cm with mattress and mattress topper, plus nightstand, lamps, curtains, small sofa and four chairs with a kitchen table. Small storage closet in the apartment. 40 sqm.
Cleaning supplies
A bucket and mop are provided in the apartment. The mop should be damp when used, not wet. The mop cloth attachment can be washed in 60 degrees and air dried.

Internet and utilities
Internet access is included in the rent. You will need to provide a network cable, or your own router. Please contact Ownit if you have problems: 08-52507300. You will need a network cable to set it up the first time. The outlet is in the main room.
Electricity and water is included in the rent. Heating is also included in the rent and is controlled centrally.
Garbage and recycling
Recycling bins for plastic, glass, newspapers, and other items are provided in the basement of the building. Tensta Tower provides you with brown bags for food waste, which you will need to separate from regular garbage and throw outside in the bin marked “Matavfall”. “Hushållsavfall” is for garbage that cannot be recycled.
Laundry
You can book a washer/dryer 24 hours a day on the screen next to the laundry room on the first floor. You can book it up to four times a month. If you would like to book laundry times via the landlord’s app, please contact them in order to set it up.
Keys
All doors and elevators are operated with your keys, and only the other tenants on your floor can enter your corridor. You will receive one key which gives you access to everything in Tensta, from your door to the elevator, laundry, recycling, etc. Sometimes you use it as a regular key and sometimes you hold it up to a panel. In order to lock your front door, you will need to pull up on the handle first. If you lose your key, you will be charged 4000 SEK.
To open your mailbox, hold the key (without moving it) on the black panel closest to your mailbox and it should pop open. If you are having trouble with your electronic key, you will need to put it in the hotspot located in the entryway to re-program it.
Bike storage and basement storage
There is a separate entrance to get into the bike storage, located in the basement. You will have a small storage cage in the basement. Please find your storage marked with your apartment number on it. You will need to provide your own padlock.
