Sörmland at its best

Welcome to join KTH Relocation on Sept 7^th for a full daytrip to Mariefred, and the beautiful national park Stendörren

Meeting point is Brinellvägen 8 at 8.00 on Sept 7.

The bus will leave from Brinellvägen 8 at 8.30

A bus will take us straight from KTH to the Castle of Gripsholms for a guided tour and a lovely day in the picturesque city of Mariefred, and on to the nature reserve Stendörren

We´ll start off with a guided tour at the Castle of Gripsholm that was founded in 1537, and is the scene for some of the most interesting historical events in Sweden.

Mariefred is a popular summer city, very well kept as an old town. You can easily spend a couple of hours just strolling around, visit the church, see the boats coming and leaving on Mälaren, grab a lunch, do some shopping etc.

If possible we will have lunch together. Nothing is booked but we will find a place to eat and if you would like to join in with the rest of the group you are welcome.

At 2.30, we will continue to the well-known nature reserve Stendörren to do a guided walk for about 1, 5 hours. The scenery at Stendörren is unique and very typical for the county of Sörmland.

Back at KTH around 6 pm

The price is 150SEK/person and includes the bus and two guided tours. Lunch and fika is on your own expense. We do not accept cash! See the registration form for how to pay.
